The project Limbas often changed it´s name during the development and was also known as cyberdb in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The Limbas GmbH was founded by three partners in the year 2006. The intent was to continue the professional open source project Limbas, which was launched by Axel Westhagen 2001. Gregory Boyer will continue the team in a subsidiary in France 2008.
