We present our new Release LIMBAS Version 1.11
As from April you can test our new release Limbas Version 1.11.
Limbas 1.11 - Release Notes:
General features:
- Reading and writing metadata to and from PDFs
- Expansion module for the use of GoogleEarth
- Automated OCR identification of documents with concurrent indexing
Operator Convenience:
- Performance enhancement for even quicker working
- Advanced auditing mechanisms to plausibility for data input
- Even simpler versioning of files with "Copy/Paste"
- The browser compatibility has been increased, now it supports IE / Firefox / Safari
- New Layout "Octopus" available
Document-Management-System DMS:
- New context menu for quick information to metadata / versioning / OCR
- Dealing with files has been further facilitated: Folders can now, like files, be selected / copied / deleted / renamed.....
- Download files/folders now also recursively possible
- In the file favorites folders can be filed away
- Improved upload functionalities
Administration:
- Periodic Jobs, the Jobsystem can now be used for self-defined tasks (including index / OCR)
- New Form Element, with which Snapshot tables can easily be integrated
- Language module: language content can be differenced for JavaScript/PHP
- Rights system: clearer selection of groups and sub-groups
- SOAP interface expanded: Tables and field names as identifiers can be directly used in variables
